A Note from Jud Fisher
April 27, 2020
Friends,
We are all adjusting to tremendous changes in our family lives, professional lives, and social lives.
In the midst of this change, it has been inspiring to see the ways that our community has risen up over the past month to use the skills, talents, and resources we have to meet pressing needs.
Manufacturers have retooled their production lines to make face shields. Those with sewing skills have dedicated countless hours to making masks. Practically overnight, teachers and schools have pivoted to provide meaningful learning opportunities for students and to provide the critical support families need outside the walls of traditional classrooms. And nonprofits of all kinds have demonstrated agility, adapting their service delivery models to ensure that families stay fed, to provide childcare for essential workers, and to deliver healthcare in new ways.
To see more of my thoughts about the pandemic, check out the Muncie Journal’s recent article featuring words of hope from leaders across the community.
Please know that just as we have for over 90 years, Ball Brothers Foundation remains committed to supporting efforts across the region.
Our staff continues to work from home, but are only an email or phone call away. We encourage you to reach out anytime with questions or to schedule a time to chat at info@ballfdn.org.
Sincerely,
Jud Fisher, President & COO
