Year in Review
In 2023, Ball Brothers Foundation awarded 174 grants to organizations in Muncie, Delaware County, and Indiana. These grants totaled $8.8 million, the second-highest payout in the foundation’s history.
Throughout the year, we were busy with site visits, convening grantees, and more. It’s been inspiring to see how place-based grantmaking makes a difference in our community.

2024 funding deadlines
Reminder: Our grant and award deadlines for 2024 are fast approaching.
If your organization is planning to apply by the February 15 Preliminary Application deadline, we'd like to chat with you about your request and provide guidance as you begin to prepare your proposal. Curtains up for Muncie Civic Theatre
Earlier this month, our team had the pleasure of celebrating the reopening of Muncie Civic Theatre’s Mainstage. The theatre is back in action with the beloved show "White Christmas" after closing for the installation of a new rigging system. Ball Brothers Foundation was proud to support the new rigging system, the crowning achievement in Muncie Civic Theatre's campaign to restore this historic gem in downtown Muncie.
