Foundation Seeks Qualified Individual to Fill Program Officer Position

Ball Brothers Foundation seeks an experienced professional to join the Foundation as a program officer and coordinate the Foundation’s interest in education and the environment. The Program Officer will play a key role in managing the grants portfolio and implementing policies that contribute to the Foundation’s overall goal of accountability and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include acting as the first line of inquiry for non-profits seeking grant funds, reviewing letters of inquiry and grant proposals, conducting site visits, meeting with potential grant recipients, active participating in the evaluation/assessment process in the Foundation, and remaining current on issues and trends in the primary areas of assignment.

Requirements: a BA/BS degree, 5 years experience in program administration, strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in use of technology, ability to work with a foundation board, strong organizational skills, a team-player, and the ability to multi-task.
