$5M+ Awarded in Fall Round of Grants
We're excited to announce our latest round of grants, totaling over $5 million to support 36 organizations across East Central Indiana. As part of this round, the foundation awarded $125,000 to United Day Care Center to help add new infant/toddler classrooms to support local families in need of affordable, quality childcare.
Other grants will fund a range of programs essential to our region’s growth in arts and culture, environmental initiatives, human services, and healthcare.
Inside Our Board Retreat at Camp Crosley
Earlier this month, Ball Brothers Foundation’s board and staff gathered at Camp Crosley for a memorable retreat on the shores of Little Tippy.
Between high ropes adventures, late nights around the campfire, and meals in the camp's iconic dining hall, our team enjoyed the best of camp life while reflecting on the foundation’s mission and legacy.
Leaders from several other private foundations in Indiana joined BBF to share insights into their place-based grantmaking strategies. The foundation was also joined by Janet Holcomb, First Lady of Indiana, who helped break ground for the camp's new Lakeside Cabins.

Tribute to Outgoing Board Member: Will Bracken
This month, we celebrated longtime board member Will Bracken, who is completing his BBF board service after more than 30 years.
Will’s commitment and leadership have been essential to our growth, and his efforts to engage future generations of Ball family members have led to the creation of our well-regarded Associate Directors program. We are incredibly grateful for Will's service and the lasting difference he’s made.
