Ball Brothers Foundation Board of Directors Chairman Jim Fisher with Jud Fisher
Prior to leaving office in January, former Governor Eric Holcomb presented Jud Fisher, President & CEO of Ball Brothers Foundation, with the Sagamore of the Wabash Award – one of Indiana’s highest honors. Indiana governors give the award to recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to life in the state.
Governor Holcomb, in a video shared with the Ball Brothers Foundation board of directors in late February, cited Fisher’s leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, continued commitment to public health and improving the quality of life in Indiana, and spirit of collaboration, as examples of his service. Holcomb also highlighted the engagement of Ball Brothers Foundation and the philanthropic community at large which have been vital to advancing improvements across the state of Indiana.
As Ball Brothers Foundation looks forward to its 100th anniversary in 2026, Holcomb noted the company culture that birthed Ball Brothers Foundation and continues to live on through the foundation’s work. Holcomb presented the award to Fisher in Indianapolis prior to the end of his eight-year term as Indiana’s Governor.
