Susan Brumley joins Ball Brothers Foundation as Executive Assistant & Convenings Coordinator

Ball Brothers Foundation is pleased to welcome Susan Brumley as its new Executive Assistant & Convenings Coordinator. Formerly the retail manager for the Orchard Shop at Minnetrista, Brumley brings with her 20 years of experience in customer service and management. Her role at the foundation begins March 1.

Brumley studied fine arts at Ball State University and returned to Muncie 11 years ago. She is driven and committed to bettering her community. “I feel most passionate about the work the foundation does in the areas of environment, health, and human services,” Brumley said. “As a mother of four children, I feel it is important to educate, develop, and support all efforts that positively impact one’s health through a lifetime; this includes taking care of our environment today so more generations can enjoy it into the future.”

In her new role, Brumley will serve as the initial point of contact for grantees and community members seeking to connect with Ball Brothers Foundation. She will manage the day-to-day workflow of the office, including scheduling and coordinating meetings. Brumley will work closely with the foundation’s board of directors which is comprised of two generations of Ball family members and several community representatives. She will also play an instrumental role in helping the foundation expand its capacity to convene grantees, local and state-level government officials, community leaders, and others.

Brumley has witnessed the impacts of collaboration and innovation in the Muncie community and looks forward to further supporting the work of Ball Brothers Foundation. “I take my responsibility of citizenship seriously and I always work to leave a place better than I found it,” Brumley said. “Having the opportunity to work with Ball Brothers Foundation will allow me to continue my service to others in a most meaningful way.”
